Third army breaks through - 26 Dec 1944

Elements of General George Patton's Third Army, spearheaded by Lt. Col. Creighton Abrams commanding the 4th Armored Division's 37th Armor Regiment, succeeded in punching through to Bastogne, reaching the lines of the 326th Engineers.
