Siege of Bastogne - 20 Dec 1944

Bastogne, a vital road junction in the Ardennes mountain range, was a vital objective for German forces during the Battle of the Bulge. 101st, 10th and 705th battalion troops held the town, until they were relieved by elements of Patton's 3rd Army.
