Battle of the River Plate - 13 Dec 1939
The British cruisers, Exeter, Achilles and Graf Spree. The heavy German armament damages two of the British cruisers putting into the neutral port of Montevideo for repairs. British forces concentrate. Captain Langsdorrf scuttles the Graf Spree.
