The Cat Who Walks Through Walls - Robert A. Heinlein
I was enjoying this book right up until the inter-dimensional rescue in Lunar City. After the rescue it transformed from an interesting sci-fi/escape/murder mystery/conspiracy novel into a self indulgent and unfulfilling examination of time travel and its potential consequences. Meh!

The Flashman Papers - George MacDonald Fraser
It doesn't get more guilty pleasure than this. Deplorable protagonist framed on a well researched historical canvas. It's a pity Audible doesn't have book five, or I would keep going.

Prague Winter - Madeleine Albright
A history of a country that comprises half my heritage. Particularly compelling as my Jewish maternal grandparents escaped Europe at the end of the 1930s and suffered the same loss of family members who remained behind.
