Creativity, Inc - Ed Catmull, Amy Wallace
Some fascinating stories from the earliest days of computer graphics, the creation of Pixar, its ultimate success and well beyond. I wonder if the many analogies to describe the mental models people have at Pixar to do their job is useful for anyone except those people.

The Cat Who Walks Through Walls - Robert A. Heinlein
I was enjoying this book right up until the inter-dimensional rescue in Lunar City. After the rescue it transformed from an interesting sci-fi/escape/murder mystery/conspiracy novel into a self indulgent and unfulfilling examination of time travel and its potential consequences. Meh!
