A Storm of Swords - George R R Martin
Every once in a very long while, Lord Tywin Lannister would actually threaten to smile; he never did, but the threat alone was terrible to behold.

A Clash of Kings - George R R Martin
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

A Game of Thrones - George R R Martin
Reading the World of Ice and Fire has left me with a thirst. It surprises me a little that the book is still good after so many re-readings.

The World of Ice & Fire - George R R Martin, Elio M. Garcia, Jr. and Linda Antonsson
A must read for any fan of the books. The history of the Targaryen kings particularly so.
N.B. I noticed that Daeron I (The Young Dragon) and Baelor I (The Blessed) are out of order on the timeline diagram at the end. I note this here in case their was any doubt on the extent of my ASoIaF fanaticism.

Dangerous Women - George R R Martin
Some great stories in here. The first half more than the second, with the obvious exception of 'The Blacks and The Greens' which was awesome.
