Cape Spada - 19 Jul 1940
A Royal Australian Navy led squadron of RAN and RN ships clash with the Regia Marina, sinking the light cruiser Bartolomeo Colleoni. 555 survivors of Bartolomeo Colleoni were rescued; 121 died.
